Chipman is looking for an experienced Residential Relocation Consultant to join our team
The Relocation Consultant is focused on and responsible for securing and closing new business opportunities for the company by prospecting, networking, being involved in community activities, building relationships, and seeking referrals, as well as following up on company provided leads or appointments. The Relocation Consultant is also responsible for representing the company to the public in a professional and positive manner and conducting the business of the company with integrity and honesty.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Uphold the Chipman Seven Core Values and Vision Statement.

Identify and actively seek out potential new clients through various channels, including cold calling, appointments with realtors, networking groups, professional referrals.

Provide accurate estimates to customers based on market conditions, carrier rates, and operational costs.

Understand and have knowledge on applicable tariffs and pricing models as well as rules and regulations of the Company, Carrier, and regulatory agencies.

Ensure that all documents are completed thoroughly, accurately, and within a timely manner.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Work closely with other departments, such as operations, customer service and billing to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Maintain a cumulative 4.5+ sales rating on the UniGroup customer post move evaluations.

Achieve sales commitments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Consistently utilize company software including Quotes to Go and Hubspot.

Generate new customer base by establishing relationships with local realtors, property management companies, retirement communities, etc.

Attend Chipman branch and organizational sales meetings as scheduled.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of moving and storage sales experience.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of online applications, word processing and presentation software and ability to use proposal generation software.
