When you partner with Chipman, you are assigned an international move manager to assist you along the way. Your move manager will document your needs and provide a moving plan that is customized to your personal specifications and budget. They will assist you through the entire process and can consult on matters of travel, customs and culture.

Your move consultant will perform a detailed in-home survey to provide you with an accurate, reliable international moving estimate. Depending on your needs, your quote could include estimates for moving, storage and transition services.

It’s recommended you take at least one preview trip before you commit to an international move. This trip is designed to acclimate you to your destination and its offerings.

Chipman customers enjoy access to a number of educational resources including online, classroom and one-on-one language training. Our resources can help you develop better speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, including local dialects and business terminology.

As a supplement to language training, we’ll provide you and your family with relevant information about your host country and insights to local culture, business protocol and social etiquette.

Our team will make sure that all items arrive safely to their destination. They’ll manage the entire export and import process ensuring smooth handoffs between ports and carriers. Once your shipment arrives at their destination, we’ll coordinate with our local partner to deliver it at a convenient time for you.
