International Association of Movers (IAM)

Chipman International is also an active member of the International Association of Movers (IAM). The International Association of Movers is the moving and forwarding industry's largest global trade association.

With more than 2,000 members, it comprises companies that provide moving, forwarding, shipping, logistics, and related services in more than 170 countries. FAIM Certification

The FIDI-FAIM certification requires that international movers have a periodic independent assessment of their inter-continental moving activities through an independent quality, process and financial audit which is performed every three years. This audit is thorough and extensive, encompassing all aspects of an international relocation start to finish.

This audit ensures that FIDI companies work to a worldwide common standard for managing and performing international moving services in a uniformed, quality-minded, and effective way. It also provides a transparent mechanism that ensures that the standards remain high.
