Each year, Cartus recognizes the companies and individuals who have provided extraordinary service to its customers and clients worldwide. Mayflower Transit 2012 Excellence in Sales Award

Todd Meserle, Chipman Relocation and Logistics, Alameda, California, was honored with the Mayflower Transit 2012 Excellence in Sales Award.  The award was presented at United’s national sales and operations conference held in St. Louis. Chipman Relocation & Logistics is an agent for Mayflower Transit. The Excellence in Sales Award recognizes an agency representative with a proven sales track record who contributed to the profitability of both the agency and the van line system. The recipient also exemplifies professionalism and integrity, possesses superior industry knowledge, is customer-focused and is active in both the industry and the community.

United Van Lines 2017 Excellence in Sales Award

Ron Grant, Chipman Relocation & Logistics, Portland, Oregon, was honored with the United Van Lines 2017 Excellence in Sales Award. The award was presented at United’s national sales and operations conference held in St. Louis. Chipman Relocation & Logistics is an agent for United Van Lines.

American Transportation Association Winning Drivers

Super Van Operator Awards are given to recognize drivers and owner-operators who provide the best in safe, reliable, and customer-oriented household goods truck transportation.  Judging criteria include miles driven, accidents (preventable or non-preventable), lifetime driving record, time out of service for any “hours of service” or equipment violations, financial responsibility, community involvement, customer service, driving awards, and outside interests and activities.

Highway Hero

The TCA (Truckload Carriers Association) bestows the Highway Angel recognition to award a driver's “good deeds”, ranging from simple acts of kindness to heroic life-saving efforts.

On Feb. 20, our driver, Junichi Shimizu was driving his tractor-trailer westbound along State Route 12 in California, when a silver car traveling eastbound crashed into a black sedan in front of him. With the silver car bursting into flames, Shimizu pulled over and ran to help the victim, breaking the glass and pulling the driver out to safety.
