Seattle, WA — [October 13, 2025] — Chipman Relocation & Logistics is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Yacko as Senior Director and General Manager for its Seattle (Algona) branch.
With more than 30 years of experience in the relocation and logistics industry, Steve brings extensive leadership and operational expertise to Chipman. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing eight branches across four states and managing operations that spanned household goods relocations, office and industrial projects, logistics, and commercial warehousing.
Throughout his career, Steve has led large-scale teams and fleet operations, implemented process improvements, and partnered closely with sales to develop new revenue streams. His background includes significant collaboration with UniGroup and the Office Moving Alliance (OMA), as well as hands-on experience directing billing departments, driver recruiting and retention programs, and the deployment of advanced warehouse management systems.
