Short-Term Storage Services

For short-term storage, Chipman offers a service called Storage-in-Transit; this service is normally utilized for shipments needing storage for 90 days and less. The Chipman team will:

• Place all items into secure storage vaults at our warehouse.
• Store all packed items in their original cartons, nothing will be unpacked.
• Upholstered furniture will be individually wrapped and protected, then placed on special storage racking off the floor to keep clean and secure.
• All items remain in our warehouse and in our care and control till delivery of the items is needed.
• This service is available at an additional cost based on the weight of the shipment and the length of storage needed. All Chipman representatives can assist with this service.

Long-Term Storage

For relocating internationally, overseas deployment, or other situations where you may need storage for more than 90-days, Chipman offers long-term storage options. You can rest assured that your belongings will be protected in our secure warehouse until your return.
